We are seeking a motivated WordPress Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This role provides hands-on experience in WordPress development, perfect for candidates with basic knowledge of WordPress and an eagerness to grow in the field. High-performing interns may be offered a full-time position upon completion of the internship.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building, updating, and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Optimize website performance, load speed, and security.
• Support content creation, management, and layout adjustments as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic website issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to align website features with design specifications.
• Contribute to team discussions, sharing insights and ideas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Web Development, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and basic customizations.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot simple issues and find effective solutions.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Team Player: Willingness to collaborate and take guidance from team members.
• Adaptability: Open to learning new skills and working with various WordPress tools and plugins.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with website builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.
• Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL is an advantage.
• Experience with SEO best practices and optimizing websites for performance.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git is a plus.
