We are seeking a skilled BigCommerce Developer with expertise in Headless Commerce Development to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in BigCommerce API integrations, theme customization, and headless architecture using modern frameworks. Key Responsibilities

 

• BigCommerce Development: Develop and maintain high-performing BigCommerce stores with custom features and functionalities.
• Headless Commerce Development: Implement and manage headless BigCommerce solutions using Next.js, React.js, or Vue.js.
• Theme Customization: Customize and develop BigCommerce themes using Stencil, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to match branding requirements.
• API Integration: Work with BigCommerce APIs, GraphQL, and REST APIs to integrate third-party services and applications.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal store performance, SEO best practices, and scalability.
• Custom App Development: Develop and maintain custom BigCommerce apps/extensions to enhance store capabilities.
• Third-Party Tools & Plugins: Integrate payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and marketing tools with BigCommerce.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Collaboration: Work with designers, backend developers, and marketing teams to create intuitive and high-converting e-commerce experiences.
• Best Practices & Security: Ensure all developments follow BigCommerce best practices and security standards.
Qualifications and Requirements

 

• 3+ years of experience as a BigCommerce Developer.
• Mandatory: BigCommerce Certification.
• Must-have experience with Headless Commerce Development.
• Strong proficiency in BigCommerce Stencil, Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and Webhooks for seamless integrations.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript frameworks like React.js, Next.js, Vue.js.
• Understanding of BigCommerce best practices for SEO and site performance.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

 

• Experience with Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with server-side technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and JAMstack.
• Knowledge of Cloud services like AWS, Firebase, or Vercel.
