Job Summary

 

Perigeon Software is looking for a skilled ServiceNow Developer with 3 to 4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to optimize business processes. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to delivering high-quality ServiceNow implementations.Key Responsibilities

 

• ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, and configure applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
• Customization & Configuration: Customize ServiceNow workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, and ACLs to enhance system functionality.
• Integration & APIs: Implement integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and Integration Hub.
• Incident, Problem, Change & Asset Management: Support ITSM modules including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, and CMDB.
• Service Catalog & Portal Development: Develop Service Catalogs, Request Management, and Self-Service Portals with a user-friendly interface.
• Automation & Scripting: Utilize JavaScript, Glide API, and Flow Designer to automate workflows and enhance system efficiency.
• Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure the smooth functioning of ServiceNow applications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize ServiceNow applications for scalability, performance, and security.
• Documentation & Best Practices: Maintain technical documentation, follow ServiceNow best practices, and ensure compliance with coding standards.
Requirements

 

• 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture, scripting, and modules.
• Experience in customizing ITSM processes and developing ServiceNow applications.
• Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, UI Scripts, and Flow Designer.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, SSO, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow CMDB, Asset Management, and Workflow Automation.
• Familiarity with Service Portal development, AngularJS, and UI development in ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, data security, and compliance in ServiceNow.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve ServiceNow issues efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications

 

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Experience in ITOM (IT Operations Management), ITBM (IT Business Management), or HRSD (Human Resources Service Delivery) modules.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow App Engine, Flow Designer, and Automation techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
