Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Commercetools Developer with hands-on experience integrating Zuora for subscription management and billing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercetools architecture, microservices-based commerce, and API-driven integrations. You will work closely with technical teams to design and implement scalable, modern commerce solutions for global clients.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Commercetools-based commerce solutions.
• Implement and integrate Zuora for billing, invoicing, and subscription management workflows.
• Build and manage APIs and middleware integrations between Commercetools, Zuora, and other enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, OMS).
• Work with microservices and event-driven architectures to enable headless commerce setups.
• Customize and extend Commercetools functionalities using JavaScript, Node.js, or Java.
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams for seamless integration and data flow.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration or performance issues.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Commercetools development.
• Hands-on experience integrating Zuora Billing and Subscription Management.
• Strong understanding of API-driven architecture (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, or Java for backend/custom service development.
• Familiarity with JSON, webhooks, and event-based workflows.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of e-commerce concepts — product, pricing, subscription, and order workflows.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

 

Good to Have Skills
• Experience with other commerce platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience with middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and DevOps practices.
