Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fluent Commerce Developer to join our growing e-commerce technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce Order Management System (OMS), including configuration, custom workflow design, integrations, and troubleshooting. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-performing commerce solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and configure Fluent Commerce OMS for order, inventory, and fulfillment management.
- Develop and customize order workflows, fulfillment logic, and event-based automation.
- Integrate Fluent Commerce with e-commerce platforms, ERP, CRM, and payment systems via REST APIs or middleware.
- Manage data synchronization between systems for orders, inventory, and customer data.
- Work closely with technical and business teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot OMS integrations, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Follow best practices for scalability, performance optimization, and system security.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce (Order Management & Fulfillment).
- Strong understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS) and e-commerce workflows.
- Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and middleware integrations.
- Familiarity with JavaScript / Node.js / Java / TypeScript for scripting or automation tasks.
- Experience in managing cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with Commercetools, Shopify, or other e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of integration middleware (Mulesoft, Boomi, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and modern deployment practices.
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
