Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fluent Commerce Developer to join our growing e-commerce technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce Order Management System (OMS), including configuration, custom workflow design, integrations, and troubleshooting. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-performing commerce solutions.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Implement and configure Fluent Commerce OMS for order, inventory, and fulfillment management.
• Develop and customize order workflows, fulfillment logic, and event-based automation.
• Integrate Fluent Commerce with e-commerce platforms, ERP, CRM, and payment systems via REST APIs or middleware.
• Manage data synchronization between systems for orders, inventory, and customer data.
• Work closely with technical and business teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot OMS integrations, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Follow best practices for scalability, performance optimization, and system security.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce (Order Management & Fulfillment).
• Strong understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS) and e-commerce workflows.
• Experience working with REST APIs, GraphQL, and middleware integrations.
• Familiarity with JavaScript / Node.js / Java / TypeScript for scripting or automation tasks.
• Experience in managing cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

 

Good to Have Skills
• Experience with Commercetools, Shopify, or other e-commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of integration middleware (Mulesoft, Boomi, or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and modern deployment practices.
• Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
