Microsoft Sales Manager

About the Role:

    We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Microsoft Sales Manager to drive business growth across the US markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services sales, particularly around Microsoft technologies, .NET development, and Umbraco solutions. The role requires a strategic sales professional capable of generating new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and building long-term client relationships.

     

    Key Responsibilities
    • Drive end-to-end sales activities for Microsoft technology services, including .NET, Umbraco and related solutions.
    • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in the US regions.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
    • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and partner channels.
    • Engage with C-level executives, decision-makers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose suitable solutions.
    • Lead client presentations, solution discussions, negotiations, and contract closures.
    • Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams to create compelling proposals and estimates.
    • Manage and grow strategic client accounts while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify business opportunities.
    • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM records.
    • Represent the organization in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

     

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in IT Services Sales, Business Development.
    • Proven experience selling Microsoft technology solutions and custom software development services.
    • Strong understanding of:      Microsoft .NET Technologies      Umbraco CMS      Microsoft Azure      Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)      Custom Application Development Services
    • Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing clients in the US markets.
    • Experience handling the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.
    • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

     

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience working with offshore development and delivery teams.
    • Ready to work in Eastern Time Zone.
    • Existing network of clients, partners, or decision-makers in the US.
    • Should be ready to work in Europe and Australia region in the future.
    • Understanding of digital transformation, cloud solutions, and enterprise applications.
    • Strong proposal writing and solution-selling capabilities.
    • Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment.
