We are seeking a highly skilled SFCC Developer with deep hands-on experience in SFRA architecture, server-side JavaScript, integrations, and end-to-end eCommerce implementations. The ideal candidate must be capable of building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable B2C storefronts on Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) storefronts using SFRA, ISML templates, controllers, server-side JavaScript, and pipelines.
- Implement new features, enhancements, and modules following SFCC best practices.
- Integrate Commerce Cloud with third-party systems such as OMS, ERP, payment gateways, tax systems, search engines, PIM, etc.
- Build and optimize cartridges, Page Designer components, and checkout flows.
- Maintain and enhance site performance including caching, SEO optimization, product listings, and content slots.
- Work closely with UX, QA, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Handle data imports/exports, site configurations, custom preferences, and Business Manager settings.
- Participate in code reviews, quality checks, debugging, and performance improvements.
- Support deployments using CI/CD, Git, and SFCC deployment pipelines.
- Stay current with SFCC release updates, SFRA enhancements, and commerce trends.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) development.
- Strong hands-on experience with SFRA (Salesforce Reference Architecture).
- Proficiency in JavaScript (server-side + client-side), ISML, Node.js, and JSON.
- Experience working with cartridges, controllers, hooks, and OCAPI/Shop APIs.
- Knowledge of Business Manager, site preferences, catalog/product setup, promotions, and content management.
- Strong understanding of eCommerce workflows—PDP, PLP, Cart, Checkout, Pricing, Inventory, Payments, etc.
- Experience with REST APIs, integrations with OMS/ERP/PIM, and middleware systems.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git, and CI/CD processes.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with Headless Commerce, Commerce API, or Composable Commerce.
- Knowledge of SCAPI, Page Designer from scratch, and multi-site implementations.
- Salesforce certifications such as:
- B2C Commerce Developer (preferred)
- JavaScript Developer I
- Platforce Developer I (Must Have)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum workflows.
