Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Health Cloud Developer with strong expertise in implementing healthcare workflows, patient management, provider relationships, and clinical integrations on Salesforce. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience customizing Health Cloud features, developing Lightning Components, creating scalable integrations, and ensuring compliance with healthcare data standards.
 
Key Responsibilities
Health Cloud Implementation
• Configure and customize Salesforce Health Cloud features, including Care Plans, Patient Timelines, Assessments, Provider Relationships, Insurance/Utilization Management, and Health Cloud data models.
• Implement Patient/Member onboarding journeys and care coordination workflows.
• Integrate electronic health record (EHR), medical device, and healthcare system data.

 

Salesforce Development
• Develop custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC/Aura), Flows, and SOQL/SOSL.
• Customize Salesforce Objects, Security, Profiles, Permission Sets, and Sharing rules.
• Build intuitive user interfaces for clinical, operational, and administrative teams.

 

Integrations & Data Management
• Build and maintain FHIR/HL7 integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware-based data flows.
• Implement data mapping and transformation for healthcare systems.
• Manage large datasets, ETL processes, and data migration into Health Cloud.

 

Compliance & Security
• Ensure platform configuration aligns with HIPAA, PHI/PII privacy, encryption, and secure access control best practices.
• Implement audit logs, field history tracking, and robust governance frameworks.

 

Collaboration & Delivery
• Work with cross-functional teams including SMEs, clinicians, business analysts, and QA.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and maintain development standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to solution design documentation.

 

Required Skills
• 4–7 years of Salesforce development experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare processes (patient care, provider networks, insurance workflows, clinical data).
• Expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, Flows, API integrations, and Salesforce data modeling.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with healthcare systems using FHIR, HL7, REST APIs.
• Understanding of Health Cloud objects like Patient, Provider, Care Plan, Assessments, and Encounters.
• Experience with Salesforce Security, OAuth, SSO, and compliance-driven data handling.

 

Good to Have
• Salesforce certifications:
  • Health Cloud Accredited Professional (highly preferred)
  • Platform Developer I (Must Have)
  • Salesforce Administrator / App Builder
• Experience working with healthcare clients, payers, providers, or clinical platforms.
• Exposure to MuleSoft or any healthcare integration middleware.
• Knowledge of EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.).
• Experience in patient engagement tools, chatbots, or remote care solutions.
