Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified Senior/Lead Scrum Master to drive Agile excellence for multiple teams focused on complex e-commerce development, particularly in the areas of Order Management Systems (OMS), fulfillment, and inventory integration. This role requires a servant-leader who can effectively coach teams through the unique challenges of complex system integrations, manage critical third-party dependencies, and act as a strategic partner to both our development process and client operations.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Order Management System (OMS) Expertise: Drive the successful delivery and integration of OMS functionalities (e.g., inventory synchronization, order routing, returns/exchanges, post-purchase tracking) that directly impact client operations and customer satisfaction.
• E-Commerce Domain Expertise: Guide teams working on critical Shopify features, including custom checkout flows, app integrations, and performance optimization, ensuring alignment with fulfillment processes.
• Complex Impediment Removal: Proactively identify, resolve, and coach the team through systemic, cross-departmental impediments related to OMS integrations, 3rd party logistics (3PLs), and inventory system synchronization.
• Project & Program Management Blend: Maintain a strong understanding of project rigor (budget, timeline, risk) to manage client expectations on high-stakes OMS implementation projects, while coaching teams in the empirical process of Scrum.
• Scaling & Complexity Management: Lead coordination across multiple development and integration teams, managing dependencies between the storefront (Shopify) and back-office systems (OMS/ERP).
• Team & Process Optimization: Coach teams to a high level of maturity, optimizing processes to minimize deployment risk and maximize the flow of value in a critical production environment.
 
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 5-6+ years of dedicated experience as a Scrum Master.
• Mandatory E-Commerce/OMS Experience: Significant and demonstrable experience (3+ years) working on Order Management System (OMS) integration projects or other complex back-office systems within the e-commerce/retail domain.
• Dual Management Proficiency: Strong understanding and practical application of both Project Management principles and Scrum Management (coaching, facilitation, servant leadership).
• Expert Communication is Must: Exceptional communication, influencing, and conflict resolution skills for both technical teams and executive/client stakeholders.
• Advanced Scrum Certification is highly desirable: PSM II, A-CSM, or CSP-SM.
• Proficiency with Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally).
