We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer with strong experience in Shopify Plus, custom checkout development, payment gateway integrations (Stripe/Adyen/JPMC), middleware integrations, and Avalara tax system integration. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performing Shopify stores with seamless UI/UX.
- Perform Shopify Custom Checkout Development within Shopify Plus.
- Work on Payment Gateway Integrations including Stripe / Adyen / JPMC.
- Work with Middleware integrations (Add-on: OMS Integration).
- Perform Shopify theme customization using Liquid, HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript.
- Develop custom Shopify apps and extensions to enhance store functionality.
- Integrate third-party apps, CRM, ERP systems, marketing tools & tax systems such as Avalara.
- Implement performance optimization for speed, SEO, Core Web Vitals, and scalability.
- Work on Shopify APIs (REST/GraphQL) for backend app logic and integrations.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, back-end team & marketing team to deliver end-to-end commerce solutions.
- Follow secure coding, Shopify best practices and maintain code quality via version control (Git).
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Shopify Developer.
- Must have Shopify Plus development experience.
- Must have experience with Shopify Custom Checkout and Payment Gateway Integrations (Stripe, Adyen, JPMC).
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS.
- Familiarity with Hydrogen / Next.js is a plus (not mandatory).
- Experience working with GraphQL, REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Experience in Middleware integration; OMS integration is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Avalara Tax Platform integrations.
- Experience in Git version control, CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and site performance optimization.
- Shopify Certification (if available) is a plus.
