About the Application
Digital Compass is a utility mobile application designed to provide users with a precise and responsive compass powered by their
smartphone’s sensors. It is used widely by travellers, outdoor enthusiasts, and professionals who require reliable directional data without relying on cellular connectivity.
The Challenge
When the Digital Compass team approached us, they were dealing with:
- Laggy compass readings and delayed sensor responses.
- Inconsistent accuracy due to poor sensor calibration.
- A dated user interface that didn’t appeal to modern users.
- High battery consumption from continuous sensor polling.
- Lack of added value features such as coordinates, map view, or calibration prompts.
